I once gave everything in a long relationship.  My time, effort, even sacrifices for his family,  but was betrayed and left broken, to the point of harming myself. 

When someone new came into my life on 26/08/2024, he promised not to be like my past. For a while, he gave me happiness and presence, but slowly distance, harsh words, and broken promises returned. I don’t ask for wealth or gifts, only time and attention. Yet the same wounds repeat, and I’m left fighting the same trauma, trying to heal while still holding on to hope.
